WASHINGTON - The storm is accompanied by heavy rain and
lightning struck several states in the eastern United States (U.S.). This
forced 900 flights canceled in the region.
According to FlightAware, a flight tracking company based in
Texas, United States, there are more than 900 flights were canceled on Thursday
(26/7) local time. Most flights canceled at LaGuardia Airport, New York.
Meanwhile, according to the U.S. Federal Aviation Agency,
flight cancellations also occur at the airport Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, New
York City, Philadelphia, and Washington DC.

As a result of this storm, tens of thousands of residents in
the eastern U.S. have to live without electricity. In the region of Ohio,
American Electric Power of Ohio says more than 51 thousand people live without
electricity.
While governor of New York Andrew Cuomo said, the storm cut
off power for approximately 93 700 customers in the region. In the Elmira, New
York, has sparked a storm and a tornado damaged a shopping center and a local
country club.
There has been no reports of casualties caused by this
storm. But weather experts warned people about the existence of strong winds
with a strength of 112 km per hour which still haunt the region.
